For young people aged 16 to 35
Youth Meeting with the Taizé brothers
Saturday 7 November · 10 am
Free · pre-registration required
On the morning before the big prayer at the Sagrada Família, the Taizé brothers —with Brother Matthew, the prior— want to meet the young people of Catalonia. A simple day to share what you live, listen and pray together.
What we'll do
- Prayer with Taizé songs
- Sharing in small groups and reflection with the brothers
- Shared lunch: everyone brings their own food
- In the evening, at 6 pm, the Prayer at the Sagrada Família (with priority for you)
For young people aged 16 to 35. Come on your own or with your group; you don't need to have been to Taizé before.
In the form, tick the Youth Meeting (and the Prayer, if you'd also like to come in the evening).
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to be a believer to come?
No. The prayer is open to everyone, believer or not, of any denomination. You can come to sing, to listen or simply to be in silence.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, many people do. You can also come with friends: if you're a group (2 to 40 people), one responsible adult can pre-register you all at once.
Do I need to know how to sing, or know the songs?
No. Taizé songs are short phrases repeated many times: you pick them up straight away. You can also just listen.
